These documents state that they are citizens of the medieval kingdom of Burgundy. When the government attempts to claim the fortune, the citizens of Burgundy declare their independence. This light-hearted yet anarchic Ealing jewel is considered the greatest of writer T.E.B Clarke's six comedies for the studio.
